Marvelous Michigan

Michigan, surrounded on most sides by Great Lakes Michigan, Superior and Huron, has much to offer rental bus visitors. A great way of seeing Michigan is with a bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus rented from Bus Rental Detroit. Travel through Michigan in style and comfort as you visit some of the best attraction the state has to offer.
Get off your rental bus an onto a ferry boat to visit Mackinac Island. Rental bus visitor will feel like they have stepped back into the Victorian age. Motorized traffic is prohibited on Mackinac, so all transportation is by bicycles and horse drawn carriages, making you feel as if you have stepped into a time warp. Almost 80 percent of Mackinac is a U.S. National Park, and the island was the setting for the 1980 movie "Somewhere in Time" starring Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeves. The entire film was made on the island, particularly in the Grand Hotel. Mackinac Island is a major tourist attraction for all seasons, as well as for its historical significance, first as Native American sacred grounds and later as a fur trading post. Travelers also come to the island to sample its fudge, visit its butterfly conservatories and attend the annual Lilac Festival and Festival of the Horse.
Head over to Portage, Michigan in your rental bus and visit the Air Zoo. The Air Zoo is a highly charged, multi-sensory atmosphere that goes beyond anything you've ever seen. It's like no place else on Earth. Voted the "Best Place to Take Out-of-Towners" and "Best Place to Spend a Day with Your Family" two years in a row, the Air Zoo features many amusement park-style rides, Full-Motion Flight Simulators, a newly upgraded RealD 3D/4D Missions Theater, Magic Planet and Paratrooper Jump, as well as historical exhibits and educational activities. The Air Zoo has over 50 aircraft on display including the SR-71B Blackbird, till today the world’s fastest plane, and the only surviving Curtiss XP-55 Ascender fighter prototype.
Rental bus visitors will feel like they’ve stepped into Europe when they visit Frankenmuth, a little slice of Germany in mid-Michigan. Rental bus visitors can stroll among the Bavarian themed shops lining the town's main street and buy fudge, toys and other knickknacks. They can also take the opportunity to dine on fried chicken and traditional German cuisine at the Bavarian Inn or its rival across the street, Zehnders. Make sure to watch the Pied Piper show on the giant Glockenspiel clock on the side of the Bavarian Inn building., then head over to the Zehnder's Christmas store, where it's Christmas all year round, to pick out that perfect ornament. You could also take the kids for a swim in the indoor water park, Splash Village.
