Festival time in Detroit

The city of Detroit, Michigan is home to a variety of events and festivals that celebrate nearly everything rental bus visitors can imagine. Music, food, art, movies; if you can name it, the city of Detroit probably has a festival for it. Many of these festivals take place outdoors and in the month of July, on account of the warm Michigan weather, and most of them provide hours, and on occasion, days, of entertainment for the entire family at an affordable price, and sometimes even free. Travel in and around Detroit with a bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus rented from Bus Rental Detroit, and celebrate Detroit’s unique festivals in comfort and style in your rental bus.
Formerly known as the Comerica TasteFest, Comerica CityFest, hosted its twenty-first anniversary event just a few miles rental bus ride north of downtown Detroit. This event took place from July 1 through 4, and featured performances by blues legend Buddy Guy, Todd Rundgren, De La Soul, Bettye LaVette, The Avett Brothers and many more. The festival grounds stay open daily from 11:30 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., with the exception of an 8 p.m. closing time on Sunday night, and there are plenty of affordable parking options located within walking distance of the venue, or choose the better option of taking a rental bus.
The Michigan Veterans Festival, also known as Vet Fest, is located in Dearborn, Michigan on the West side of Detroit. It is held in honor of Detroit-area vets and is free of charge for all ages. The Michigan Vet Fest provides a number of activities for rental bus visitors, including ceremonies, 14 live bands on two stages, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle run and more. Musical performances include the Black Sabbath tribute band Banned from E.A.R.T.H, Groovedog, Aquatic Zoom, Curtice Markley and Wyandotte Station, among others. A number of kid-friendly events can also be found at the Michigan Veterans Festival.
The annual Meadowbrook Music Festival features several different concerts and events spread throughout the course of several weeks. These performances take place a short rental bus journey outside of Detroit at the Meadowbrook Music Theatre in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Performances by Abba the Music, Lyle Lovett & His Large Band, Chris Isaak and Michelle Branch, and the comedic event known as “Laugh-A-Palooza” marked the highlights of the shows at the Meadowbrook Music Festival.
The WYCD Country Hoedown premiered in 1983, and now entices over 800,000 guests, including rental bus visitors, to downtown Detroit each year to hear over 30 local and national country artists. Occurring at Hart Plaza for three days, this free festival features both local and national acts throughout the day on two stages, the lower and upper decks. Past performers have included Rodney Atkins, Little Big Town, Jessica Andrews and Detroit-native Kid Rock.
