Historic Trinity Lutheran Church, Detroit

If you are visiting the city of Detroit and you enjoy visiting old, historic buildings, then you should make time in your schedule to drop by and visit one of the old churches in Detroit. And since you are already there in the rented Detroit bus, perhaps it would also be a good idea if you join in their church service too.

Said to be one of the most beautiful churches in Detroit, Historic Trinity Lutheran Church is a must see for anyone visiting the city of Detroit for the first time. Some people even equate the beauty of the old churches in Detroit to those that are found in Europe, so you really don’t want to miss the opportunity to visit at least one, if not all the historic churches in Detroit. You will have to find for yourself if this is true – so make that booking to rent a Detroit bus and see for yourself how beautiful the Historic Trinity Lutheran Church is; and if you have time, you can also visit some of the other historic buildings in Detroit too.

In December, the Historic Trinity Lutheran Church is magnificently decorated with trees and crèches and it is a time when many people would make their way there to remember the celebration of the birth of the Savior of the world. When you arrive in your rented Detroit bus, you may look at the building and think that it is just another old church building, but wait till you get inside the church building itself. You will be completely “blown away” by the intricate designs within the church. As you walk through the church and admire the variety of nativities from all over the world, don’t forget to also visit their basement for the doll houses.

The Historic Trinity Lutheran Church is more than 150 years old and the building still stand strong and majestic. Throughout the years, this church has received many visitors with many school children taking field trips during memorial events like Advent, Lent and confirmation. Also, due to its central location (it is located within close distance of Ford Field and the Eastern Market), it is a place where many local Lutherans and visitors would attend its worship services and their events. Currently, other than their weekly Sunday worship services – they have three services on Sundays, at 8:15, 9:30 and 11 in the morning, they also have evening services on Mondays at 6:30pm right through until August 27th.
